Kid-Approved Kale Chips

If you have kids who turn their noses up at greens, try kale chips. In our house, they hardly ever make it to the dinner table because my daughter Sierra and I eat most of them straight off the pan.

Ingredients:

  • 2 bunches Old Dog Farm kale (curly or laccinato)

  • Splash of olive oil

  • Squeeze of lemon

  • Salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 275°F.

  2. Strip the leaf from the rib that runs along the middle in one clean movement.

  3. Toss the leaves with the olive oil, lemon juice, and salt.

  4. Put in a single layer on the baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, or until they are and crisp. Toss them every 5 minutes so they crisp evenly.
